Soak it, wring it out, snap it, and it turns cold in seconds and stays cold for two to four hours before it wants wetting again.

Walks, the garden, and the dog

Green is the one that tends to live by the back door. It goes on a walk in July, over the shoulders while you are weeding, and across a dog's back and neck when the heat has beaten them. Damp rather than soaking is the trick with a dog: a sodden towel traps heat against the coat, while a damp one keeps cooling as it dries. Keep an eye on them while it is on, and take it off if they want it off.

How it cools

By evaporation. The fabric holds water, snapping pushes air through it, and the evaporating water carries heat away. There are no cooling chemicals or gels involved, which is why it is safe around children and pets.

Using it

Wet it through with water.

Wring it out until it is damp, not dripping.

Snap it in the air four or five times.

What you get

One green CoolTowel in its clear carry bottle with a clip

Machine wash cold, no bleach, no softener, no iron, tumble dry cold

Chemical free fabric, soft enough for the face and neck

Dispatched within 24 hours, UK delivery £2.39 and free over £30, and 30 days to change your mind.
